Monday night in Madrid

Well I am in Spain and it is 11 p.m. and 27 degrees c. The forecast is for darned hot weather this week so I will have to walk in the dark to 'beat the heat'... It is wonderful to be here although Madrid is huge. I have been speaking some very dubious Spanish and worrying as usual about whether I need to leave a tip or not... Tomorrow I will get the train from chamartin to puebla de sanabria and then the fun really begins!
