The monastery

Well it is pretty impressive. Huge. There are 2 Spanish cyclists, 2 Dutch walkers, and Ernesto has arrived. There have been no Brits here since 12 June. I am quite glad I am not the only person staying here as I think it would be spooky. The building is monumentous and I will go on a tour later. Supper might be part of the deal but everything is in Spanish and I'm a bit confused.
The walk here was quiet, hilly and mainly Midge free. Hurrah ! There were some fabulous paved tracks which look like Roman roads. I have been going up and down loads in Galicia and my legs are feeling it.
The choice of routes from Cea is easy to find, and if in doubt the locals are really really helpful
I will have Wi-Fi access in Silleda. tomorrow night so might get round to saying more. My phone company are hassling me again about use of data.l
