In Trevelez on April Fools Day

Well it was a great walk here although quite difficult. I felt a bit ropey for some of it and of course it was ALL up up up. Apart from the stupid descent into Trevelez..
After a cold morning(the gloves and buff came out) I was back into a T shirt by 10. The shorts stayed on all day. But now I am wearing trousers and 3 layers on top!!!
The landscape was beautiful again. Portugos and Busquitar were white and steep and mediaeval. The valley was dry and tree-lined with occasional barking dogs and small cortijos. I nearly got run over by a madman galloping a horse and towing another horse. Ace!
There is lots of evidence of landslides - roads and paths that suddenly disappear and become very dangerous. All good fun.
I finally found and ate my mixed salad. The trick is to have a salad at about 4 p.m. And then who wants supper as well?? Well I'm not planning on staying up until 10 p.m.
Tomorrow I'm going to find some snow and build a snowman.
