The GR7 route

If you followed my route the attached map should make some sense to you so basically my route has been going from west to east with the sun on my face. Thus a red and burnt nose.
It starts at Nigulas a bit south of Granada and will end up quite a long way east of Granada at a place called Valor. It will be interesting to see what the translator made of my pronunciation of places: I'll try now.
"This is where Leicester lands around Landrum to Okie for forgiver to Another A letter to Peter this business to travellers travellers to but you less and tomorrow I will go on from the Julis do van or and then that all of the Agen. "
Oh that made me smile. I've been using my iPad and there is a audio option which translates things into English and when I said the Spanish placenames that's what it came up with. I will leave it this time. You can guess!
Tonight I am having supper at the very late time of 8 o'clock in Spanish style in the very English hotel called "Las Berchules". I will be ready for bed straight afterwards. My eye is sore and I can see that the morning will be arriba arriba arriba again!!
I am having a very quiet and rather surreal time. There is nobody out there on the hills, I met a flock of Spanish sparrows walking today at about  2 p.m. But apart from that have seen nobody.
So until today I had not spoken English for 7 days. That might seem strange but it was so peaceful. The landlady of this hotel is English but I really didn't want to speak English. I worry that I will forget my hard fought Spanish.
This is the perfect therapy for me with my job of working with so many people and having to talk all the time. I have found myself singing some strange songs - ones out of the blue from the past like "frigging in the rigging" and just really having some space to think about myself for a change. It's a lovely holiday.
