Loads of pilgrims today, and it is quite strange to see so many if them. I have met a lovely French lady and walked and talked with her for a few hours; another knee bandage casualty... She can't speak Spanish and I really realize how the whole Camino experience is enriched when you can speak the local language.
I have also walked for several hours with a Spanish man, and it seems as if we have walked away from the possibility of food, as the bar we are in has just stopped serving food. We have gone 34 km today to a small village called Vilasario. It has 2 albergues, but the public one is full so I am staying in a private albergue for 12 Euros. There are some nice people here and an American girl, do I can allow myself to speak English...
