Cheering sign

The flies here in Vilaserio are absolutely mental. It is really hot and windy this afternoon and they are just swarming around, landing on the food and generally being a right pain in the neck!  I have been bitten by a mosquito on my ankle too, so I am not best impressed...
This afternoon Zousa and I were in the middle of nowhere about 2 km from Vilaserio when we came across a small village festival. There was an immense 9 piece folk band and a bar. Zousa had a cervesa, and I had what the ladies were drinking, a martini and coke. It was all rather random...
The hostel at Vilaserio is spacious and looks perfectly comfortable. I just hope the flies calm down a bit.
The walk here was totally painless and I laughed a lot. Zousa is a humorous and retired, married, happy and philosophical 62 year old ans we walked at exactly the same speed and cadence, which was rather disconcerting.
I am really enjoying meeting these great people. Here are some blisters from the feet of a pilgrim who completed the Camino Frances
